Les Hall has produced, written, recorded and toured globally with a number of top-selling musical artists. Les has also been a composer for a feature length documentary and several short films.
East of the Mountains - Feature Film
Les served as composer for the 2021 feature film, East of the Mountains, starring Tom Skerrit and Mira Sorvino, adapted the best-selling novel from author, David Guterson. The film received widespread critical acclaim, including a 100% Rotten Tomatoes ranking.
Rick Beato
In addition to his studio work with Rick over many years, Les has been a frequent guest on Rick's massively popular YouTube channel, garnering over 10 million views across guest performances.
Trey Anastasio - 70 Volt Parade
Following the initial breakup of Phish, Les was tapped by Trey Anastasio to join his band, 70 Volt Parade for touring Trey's album Shine. 70 Volt brought more of a rock-influence into Trey's shows, with Hall sharing the rare guitar role with Anastasio along with keys. In addition to a national headlining tour, Hall joined the band as the opening act for the Rolling Stones and appeared throughout the band's Shine DVD concert footage as well as several television appearances.
Crossfade
Hailing from Hall's hometown of Columbia, South Carolina, Crossfade exploded onto the hard rock scene with platinum-selling, self-titled release, Crossfade on Columbia Records. Hall joined the band as lead guitarist following its sophomore release of Falling Away and he stepped in as principal writer and producer for the band's third album, We All Bleed, reaching #9 on Billboard hard rocks charts.
Howie Day
Hall worked with Howie Day to record Stop All the World Now (Epic Records), with acclaimed producer Martin Glover in London's Olympic Studios. The album was certified Gold with the hit single, Collide, reaching number 20 on the Billboard Top 100 chart. Hall toured extensively with Day supporting the Stop All the World headlining tour and has contributed studio work on all of Day's subsequent releases.
Jewel
Hall was tapped by four-time Grammy-nominated artist, Jewel, to play guitar and piano on her studio album The Merry Goes 'Round.
The Whiskey Gentry
Hall is the producer of The Whiskey Gentry's 2017 third studio release, Dead Ringer (Pitch-a-Tent Records), recorded at Ashville's Echo Mountain Studio and Hall's Atlanta 537 Studio. He also provided additional engineering and performed on most tracks of the album.
Bubba Sparxxx
Hall produced and wrote two songs on platinum-selling artist, Bubba Sparxxx's 2013 album, Pain Management.
